Terms of Service

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Seamtel Terms of Service Effective date: September 23, 2026 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and SEAMTEL LIMITED (“Seamtel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your use of seamtel.com, our dashboard, virtual numbers, SMS, WhatsApp and email messaging services, OTP products, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you use Seamtel on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to agree to these Terms for that business. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use Seamtel on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that business. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. Depending on the Services you request and how you use them, Seamtel may ask for information about your identity, business, website, intended use, or messaging practices. We may decline or restrict a use case if we cannot verify it or cannot support it under applicable provider requirements. You are responsible for protecting your account password and API keys and for activity carried out through your account. If you believe someone has accessed your account or API key without permission, contact Seamtel promptly so we can help secure it.

2. Our Services

Seamtel provides virtual phone numbers for supported verification services and offers SMS, WhatsApp, email, OTP, and related API services. The features and conditions applicable to a number or messaging service are shown when you purchase or use it.

Seamtel uses telecommunications providers and other third parties to provide some Services. Availability can vary by country, destination, carrier, channel, and provider. A request submitted through Seamtel does not guarantee that a code or message will be issued or delivered by a third party. When you purchase access to a virtual number for verification, you purchase the service shown at checkout. You do not purchase ownership of the underlying phone number or a guarantee that it can be used for a different platform or purpose. The conditions for receiving a code, reporting a failure, and requesting a refund are governed by the product information shown at purchase and our Refund Policy. You must also follow the rules of any third-party platform on which you use a number. Seamtel is not affiliated with those platforms unless we expressly say otherwise.

3. Your responsibilities

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and approved use cases. You are responsible for your messages, recipients, campaigns, account registrations, and anyone who uses your account or API keys. You must comply with applicable laws and rules concerning privacy, consumer protection, telecommunications, marketing, and electronic communications, as well as relevant carrier and platform policies. You must have the rights and permissions needed to send us any content or personal information that you process through the Services.

4. Consent and messaging rules

Before sending a message, you must obtain any consent or other legal permission required for that recipient, channel, country, and type of message. You must keep records showing when and how consent was obtained and what the recipient was told. You must honor requests to stop receiving messages promptly. Where required, you must support STOP, HELP, and other applicable opt-out or assistance methods. Your messages must identify the sender accurately, include required disclosures, and follow applicable rules about sending times and frequency. Consent to receive an OTP or account notice does not, by itself, permit you to send marketing messages. For WhatsApp, you must follow Meta’s applicable business messaging requirements, including rules for opt-in and message templates. For email, you must follow applicable sender-identification and unsubscribe requirements. We may require a working website, sample messages, consent records, sender registration, or other information before enabling messaging. You are responsible for obtaining any required A2P 10DLC, toll-free, sender ID, or other carrier approval. Approval by Seamtel does not guarantee approval by a carrier or confirm that your use complies with the law.

5. Prohibited activities

You may not use the Services to:

• Commit fraud, impersonate another person or business, phish, harass, or facilitate unauthorized access to accounts.
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, malware, or deceptive content.
• Use virtual numbers to bypass a third party’s rules, create deceptive accounts, or receive another person’s verification codes without authorization.
• Use numbers for banking, government, financial, or other restricted verification purposes unless Seamtel has expressly approved the use and it is permitted by the relevant platform and law.
• Spoof sender IDs, conceal the real sender, or use contact lists without the required permission.
• Create artificial traffic, evade limits or enforcement measures, or interfere with the Services or another network.
• Resell or extract the Services in a way we have not authorized. We may publish additional restrictions for particular countries, channels, or use cases in our documentation.

6. API keys and security

You must keep your API keys confidential and use reasonable security measures, including secure connections and access controls. You are responsible for requests and charges made using your credentials until you notify us of a compromise and we have had a reasonable opportunity to disable them. You must follow our technical documentation and rate limits. We may limit, delay, or reject requests to protect the Services, providers, recipients, or other customers. An accepted API request or provider response does not, by itself, prove that a message reached the recipient’s phone or inbox.

7. Prices, wallets, and credits

Prices for Seamtel’s Services are displayed on the website or dashboard before purchase or use. Prices may vary by service, country, destination, or messaging channel. You may add funds to your Seamtel wallet using the payment methods we make available. Wallet funds can be used to pay for eligible Services. If you purchase a credit plan, the number of credits included and the credits required for a service will be shown before purchase. Purchased credits expire one month after they are added to your account. Unused credits cannot be transferred to another account. Credit plans do not renew automatically; you must make a new purchase if you want more credits after your plan expires or runs out. We may change prices for future purchases or requests. A later price change will not change the price of a purchase you have already completed. Refunds of wallet funds, credits, or service charges are governed by our Refund Policy and applicable law. If a payment is reversed after you have used the Services it funded, you remain responsible for the unpaid charges, and we may restrict further use until they are resolved.

8. Refunds and payment disputes

AOur posted Refund Policy governs when you may receive a refund or wallet credit and how to request one. It forms part of these Terms. A message accepted by a provider is not necessarily delivered. Likewise, not seeing a code does not automatically mean that a billable transaction failed. Report suspected errors promptly to [email protected] with the transaction reference and relevant details so we can investigate using available provider records. You may raise a legitimate payment dispute with your payment provider. We may provide transaction records in response and may suspend an account where we reasonably suspect fraud or an unpaid balance. We will not treat a good-faith chargeback alone as fraud. Nothing in these Terms removes refund rights you have under applicable law.

9. Verification, monitoring, and enforcement

We may review account information, traffic patterns, message information, and supporting documents to protect the Services and meet legal or provider requirements. We may request more information, restrict destinations, impose limits, block traffic, or suspend or terminate an account. We may act without advance notice when reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, security problems, unlawful conduct, carrier complaints, nonpayment, or violations of these Terms. Where practical, we will explain the action and provide a way to contact support. We do not promise to review every message or prevent every instance of misuse.

10. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You give Seamtel and the providers we use permission to process, store, and transmit that content as needed to provide and secure the Services, support your account, and comply with the law. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide us with that content and any personal information it contains. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Contact us before sending sensitive or regulated information if your use requires a separate data processing agreement or additional safeguards.

11. Intellectual property

Seamtel and its licensors own the Services, software, documentation, branding, logos, and other protected materials. While your account is active and you comply with these Terms, we give you a limited right to use the Services. You may not claim ownership of our names or branding or use them without permission.

12. Availability and service changes

We may update, interrupt, restrict, or discontinue a feature or destination for operational, security, legal, or provider-related reasons. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice of a material planned discontinuation. Unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a particular delivery time, sender ID approval, successful delivery, or successful verification on a third-party platform. You are responsible for arranging backup methods if your business depends on continuous messaging.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services and request account closure by contacting [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate access as described in these Terms or if we can no longer reasonably provide the Services. When an account ends, your right to use the Services ends. Temporary numbers and sender resources may be released. Our Refund Policy and applicable law govern any eligible unused balance. You remain responsible for unpaid charges. Terms that need to continue after account closure—including payment obligations, intellectual property rights, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will remain in effect.

14. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that a carrier, WhatsApp, an email provider, or another third party will accept or deliver a message. We do not guarantee that a third-party platform will accept a virtual number, issue a verification code, or keep an account active. These disclaimers do not remove any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for lost profits, lost business, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the Services. To the extent permitted by law, Seamtel’s total liability arising from these Terms is limited to the fees you paid Seamtel for the affected Services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits a limitation, including liability that cannot legally be limited for fraud or intentional misconduct.

16. Indemnification

If you use the Services for a business, you agree to defend and reimburse Seamtel for reasonable losses and legal costs arising from a third-party claim caused by your unlawful messaging, failure to obtain required consent, content, or material violation of these Terms—except to the extent the claim was caused by Seamtel’s own wrongdoing. We will notify you of a claim where reasonably possible. You may not settle a claim that places an obligation on Seamtel without our consent. For individual consumers, this section applies only to the extent permitted by law.

17. Resolving disputes

If you have a dispute with Seamtel, contact [email protected] first and explain the issue. We will work with you in good faith to try to resolve it. Unless urgent action or a legal deadline makes this impractical, please allow 30 days for a response before filing a legal claim. Any legal claim may be brought in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that the law does not allow us to limit.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through email, the dashboard, or another suitable method before the changes take effect, unless an immediate change is needed for legal, security, or carrier reasons. If you continue using the Services after the updated Terms take effect, you accept them where permitted by law. If you disagree, stop using the Services and contact us about any eligible remaining balance.

19. General terms

If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a provision does not mean we have waived it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, restructuring, or sale of the relevant business, subject to applicable law. These Terms, the policies they incorporate, and any applicable signed agreement make up the agreement concerning the Services. If a signed agreement expressly conflicts with these Terms, that signed agreement controls.

20. Messages Seamtel sends to you

If you separately opt in to receive account or service texts from Seamtel, message frequency may vary and message and data rates may apply. Where supported, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. You may also contact [email protected]. Where required, we will request separate consent before sending you marketing texts. Agreeing to receive promotional texts is not a condition of purchasing our Services. This section applies to messages Seamtel sends to you. Section 4 applies to messages you send to your recipients using Seamtel.

21. Contact us

If you have questions about these Terms or need help with your account or a transaction, contact us at [email protected].
